I truly love finding out what ever happened to the acts who put out some of our favorite songs - especially if the act managed to make such an enormous impact with only one song! There's no doubt the familiarity and impact "Black Velvet" has made on music. We love the song's story of the King of Rock & Roll that's interpreted so perfectly by Canadian singer, Alannah Myles. So why on earth is "Black Velvet" the only song we remember from Alannah? Did she quit music? Did she become a Nascar driver? None of the above!
