Prepare to have the following song stuck in your head for the rest of your day!

 

Genious for coming up with such an infectious melody! Did you know that "One Night in Bangkok" is a collaboration between Murray Head and members of ABBA? Benny and Bjorn from ABBA saw Murray performing in Europe and thought he'd be perfect for a role in their musical, Chess.  Murray got the lead role in Chess and the song from it, "One Night In Bangkok" went to #1 in 12 countries!

After the sucess of 'Bangkok', Murray was offered even more acting oportunities on stage and film...many of them French films like Pour 100 briques t'as plus riem...(if that's cursing in French, my appologies, have no idea what that title means).

Murray continued recording and acting through the 90s and even scored some #1 hits...in Canada. In more recent years, Murray has picked up roles in several TV shows in Canada and England...so everyone on the planet knows and sees Murray all the time except us.  That's probably why we didn't know that he just released a new album a month ago!  Have a listen to his latest work...a series of covers "My Back Pages" here.
