Two Teens In Jail After Armed Robbery In Springfield Driveway

Two 18-year-olds are behind bars in Greene County after an armed robbery near Chesterfield Park in Springfield.

Deputies say Anthony S. Triggs was rummaging through a truck, which was parked in a driveway near the 2000 block of West Royal Oaks Drive.

When a man came out of the house to confront Triggs, Triggs pointed a gun at him. The man went back in the house and his wife called 911.

Triggs drove away, and deputies quickly found his car not far from the house. Alyson G. Evans was inside, along with a stolen laptop, a stolen handbag, drugs, and a gun.

Triggs and Evans were taken to the Greene County jail. Their charges include burglary, robbery, and armed criminal action.
