A grocery distribution site set up by Crosslines, a service outreach group for the Council of Churches of the Ozarks, made sure families in Greene County were fed.
The group provided food for 967 families in Greene County.
Crosslines provides food assistance to over 70,000 families in Greene County per year.

On November 17, Crosslines was honored to provide groceries to 967 families in Greene County. Do to the cooperative effort of Crosslines and partner agencies over 3,200 unduplicated families received holiday assistance this weekend across the region.
“Crosslines sees around 300 to 350 volunteers a month that come together to serve those in need in the Ozarks. Folks from everyday life donate their time to make the Ozarks a better place for under-resourced families in Greene County. The holiday season is when we really see that collaborative effort come together as we provide Holiday food baskets to almost 1,000 families the weekend before Thanksgiving.” – Tom Faulkner, Director, Crosslines

Starting November 26, families still needing Christmas Food and Toy Assistance can sign up at the Crosslines Holiday Resource Center, Monday through Saturday from 9 am – 1:30 pm and Thursday’s extended hours of 3 pm – 6 pm. Families must have a piece of mail no older than 30 days, photo ID and social security numbers for everyone in the household.
Volunteers are still needed for the Christmas Distribution. Those interested can sign up at crosslinesholiday.org.
