Showers and storms could start developing as early as Friday afternoon in the Ozarks, but the biggest threat for severe weather will be after dark.
The National Weather Service says the only question is how much instability and moisture make it into the area before a front arrives.
Most of the Ozarks is under a “marginal risk” for damaging winds and large hail, with the best chance for bad weather (“slight risk”) closer to the Missouri-Arkansas border.
