A man from Mount Vernon is dead after a head-on crash four miles east of his hometown.
The Missouri Highway Patrol says Bruce Berg died when he drove his SUV across highway 174 and hit a semi head-on.
Berg was not wearing his seat belt.
Troopers say he was pronounced dead that the hospital.
He was 23.
The driver of the truck didn’t suffer any injuries.
