Due to rain in the forecast, the City of Springfield Public Works has moved up plans to do bridge maintenance on the Campbell Avenue Bridge over Fassnight Creek.
The Campbell Avenue Bridge will be closed started today, December 26th.
Crews with the street operations division will close the bridge between Catalpa Street and Meadowmere between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. for the completion of bridge maintenance work.
Motorists are advised to follow the marked detours using Grand Street and Bennett Street.
