Severe Weather Possible In The Ozarks Wednesday

A potentially hazardous weather situation will set up over southwest Missouri over the next 48 hours, with a chance for large hail, damaging winds, even tornadoes.

The National Weather Service says thunderstorms will initially be possible Tuesday afternoon and evening, and a strong storm or two cannot be ruled out.

Forecasters say showers and storms will again develop Wednesday into Wednesday night.

Strong to severe storms are expected, with all modes of severe weather possible, including tornadoes.

The National Weather Service says the best chances for severe storms will be along and south of Interstate 44.
