Crews with MoDOT will be out treating the roads in preparation for the winter weather overnight and into Sunday.
District Maintenance Engineer Darin Hamelink tells KTTS News they will have crews out all night treating roads.
“We’ll have crews in beginning at 8 p.m. through midnight and into Sunday morning,” Hamelink says. “The plan is to pre-treat the roads before the transition into ice or freezing rain.”
He is urging drivers to be careful if you have to be on the roads overnight and early Sunday morning.
“Take it slow if you have to be on the roads overnight and early Sunday morning,” Hamelink says.
