As firefighters battled a house fire in Willard, three had to be evacuated after the roof of the home collapsed Saturday afternoon.
The house is located around Highway Z and Farm Road 68.
KOLR 10 reports that Willard Battalion Chief Jeremy Bumgarner says the homeowner and two children were home at the time. No injuries were reported.
The homeowner found fire around the wood burning stove, then got out of the house and called the fire department.
Bumgarner says the roof gave way once the fire reached the attic, forcing the evacuation of three firefighters.
