Snow Accumulation Possible This Weekend

We got teased with sunshine and temperatures in the mid 50’s to low 60’s this week, but the spring like weather didn’t stick around long.

Freezing drizzle is expected to continue into Thursday morning. The National Weather Service says up to a tenth of an inch of ice could accumulate along and south of I-44.

There’s a Winter Weather Advisory in effect until noon for the KTTS Listening area.

We also have a chance for snow Saturday night into Sunday. Meteorologist Eric Wise says it’s not clear how much accumulation to expect in the Ozarks.

“We predict we’ll see rain change over to snow. Exact amounts are going to depend on the track. It looks like the farther north you go, the better potential for snow,” said Wise.
