Some parts of the Ozarks had some severe thunderstorms early this morning.
Meteorologist Mike Albano with the National Weather Service in Springfield says it initially started in the southwest part of the KTTS listening area and started moving northeast.
Albano says Joplin had reports of dime-sized hail and quarter-sized in Seneca.
The rain that has moved through as left a lot of water in some low lying areas across the Ozarks.
The weather service says strong winds will develop across the region this afternoon with gusts of 40 to 50 miles per hour expected at times.
The next chance for storms may be possible Wednesday.
