Heavy rains Tuesday have been causing flooding in some places.

The National Weather Service issued a flood advisory for parts of Cedar, Dallas, Greene, Polk, and Webster Counties.

The advisory is in effect until 2:15 a.m. Wednesday morning.

More than 1.5 inches of rain fell across the area by 5:30 Tuesday night, causing problems for some low-water crossings.

Some isolated storms are possible tonight.

Severe storms aren’t expected Tuesday night, but we could get a few Wednesday as rain continues across the Ozarks.

Winds will pick up overnight, with winds up to 45 miles an hour on Wednesday.

There is a Wind Advisory in effect from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday for the entire KTTS Listening Area.
