A man who was once investigated when three women from Springfield vanished in 1992 has been arrested in Tennessee for false imprisonment, among other crimes.
Bartt Streeter was once a suspect in Suzie Streeter, Sherill Levitt, and Stacy McCall’s disappearance in Springfield.
Streeter was eventually eliminated as a suspect, although the case is still unsolved.
More than 20 years later, Streeter has recently been arrested in Tennessee for attempted false imprisonment, public intoxication and disorderly conduct.
Authorities in Tennessee say Streeter tried to take a 15-year-old girl from a nail salon by claiming he was her grandfather.
Streeter was also arrested in Las Vegas in 2000 for a first degree attempted kidnapping charge.
