Governor Parson has declared a state of emergency because of flooding along the Missouri and Mississippi rivers.
The governor toured northwest Missouri today to survey the damage.

Another levee breached this morning, threatening the towns of Winthrop and Lewis and Clark Village.
The levee is one of about 20 that have breached in Missouri, Nebraska, and Iowa.

Wednesday night, Highway Patrol troopers rescued four people in homes, along with three others left stranded when their boat ran out of gas near the town of Craig.
About a dozen people have been staying at a Red Cross shelter in Mound City.
And health officials are working on making sure enough tetanus shots available.
