The Christian County GOP is once again inviting Missouri Senator Roy Blunt to its Lincoln/Trump Days dinner after making national news this week.
The event chair of the group, Wanda Martens, first sent an email to Blunt says she was so disappointed she did not want to see him at the dinner in April.
She says she was disappointed over his vote against President Trump’s emergency action to build a US-Mexico border wall.
After making national news, Martens appeared in an interview telling fellow Republicans that he was welcome to come and she would not stand in the senator’s way if he wants to attend the dinner.
