Police in Springfield say man, who was taken into custody for shooting another man in the head, was already a convicted felon.
Greene County prosecutors say Derrick McKinzie is charged with assault and unlawful use of a weapon.
The victim told police he had done some work for McKenzie at his home and was trying to refund money back for not finishing the job and that’s when he got shot.
