Spring will get underway for Missouri State Parks this weekend…as campgrounds are open and special programs are being offered.
State Parks spokesperson Amy Poos tells Missourinet that includes public information meetings at every site.
Poos says some parks are having workdays for visitors to help pick up debris, paint and other chores.
It’s to encourage ownership of the parks, since the Missouri parks, soils and water sales tax makes entry and programs free.
