Springfield Police say a female police officer was dragged by a suspect driving a minivan at the Dollar General near Division and Kansas.
A male officer fired shots at the vehicle as it sped away.
The officer was treated at the scene and is in good condition.
Police say the man ditched the minivan and was arrested on Jefferson near Cox North hospital.
The man reportedly has a gunshot wound. He’s being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
He was reportedly driving a minivan that was reported stolen.
