An investigation has begun in Aurora after human bones were found in a wooded area in the northeast part of the city.
A mushroom hunter found the bones near Elliot and Delta Wednesday afternoon.
Investigators weren’t able to find any signs of clothing or other material nearby.
The medical examiner has removed the bones from the scene.
Investigators are hoping forensics will give provide more information.
The Highway Patrol is handling the investigation.
