A man from Forsyth is dead after a crash on Highway 76.

Troopers say Jon Eggebrecht, 39, was driving a pick up truck in Kirbyville when it hit a dump truck.

Eggebrecht was killed in the crash.

Troopers say the driver of the dump truck wasn’t hurt.
