Flooding Woes Continue For Some Communities In The Ozarks

At least a couple of communities are glad to see a break from the rain this week.

In Osceola, the town’s park and nearby roads have been under water for months.

The city clerk says she’s been through many seasons of heavy rain and flooding, but doesn’t remember a time worse than this year.

Health officials have been spraying areas with standing water to control mosquito outbreaks.

In Macks Creek, flood waters early Monday washed several cars downstream and caused water to pour into the basement of the town’s library.
