Missouri State President Cliff Smart says he is donating 25,000 dollars to the University after receiving the exact amount in a new raise.
The Board of Governors voted to raise Smart’s annual salary of 335,000 dollars by around 25,000 dollars.
Smart said he will be giving the first year’s additional income back to the University. He has specifically selected the Darr College of Agriculture as the recipient for the funds.
