Governor Parson endorsed incumbent Scott Fitzpatrick in his run for the office of Treasurer in 2020. Parson endorsed Fitzpatrick as he announced his campaign to a hometown crowd in Cassville on Monday.
Parson said that the treasurer was “wise steward” of the state budget and “a successful business owner.” Fitzpatrick was selected by Governor Parson to replace Eric Schmitt as treasurer in January.
Fitzpatrick is running against democrat Vicki Englund, who served as state representative from 2013-2015.
