A man wanted for robbing a gas station in Springfield Wednesday night is in custody.
Officers were called to the Rapid Roberts on Kansas Expressway and Elfindale around 10 p.m.
Police say the man walked into the store, showed a gun to workers and customers and demanded cash.
The clerk gave the suspect the money and he took off running to an apartment complex nearby.
By 3:30 this morning, officers had found the suspect at the apartments and he was taken into custody.
No one was hurt.
