Two people are in local hospitals with serious injuries following a four-vehicle chain reaction crash on Highway OO alongside I-44 near Strafford.

It happened during the afternoon rush around 4:57 p.m. Tuesday.

Troopers say a driver speeding in a pickup rear-ended a car, causing two more cars to be hit head-on.
