More storms will develop across Kansas and move southeast into the Ozarks Tuesday night.
The National Weather Service says by Wednesday morning, there will be the potential for a few strong to severe storms, with damaging wind gusts and penny size hail the main risks.
The greater risk for severe weather will be south of Springfield.
A few strong to severe storms will remain possible across far southern Missouri Wednesday.
A cold front will move through the area Thursday afternoon and evening, with a few strong to severe storms possible along the front.
Additional storms will then be possible Friday night into the weekend.
