The fourth person in Missouri to test presumptively positive for COVID-19 lives in the Clinton, Mo area.

This is one of the cases announced by Governor Mike Parson in a news conference on Friday.

The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services(DHSS), Henry County Health Center and Golden Valley Memorial Hospital announced the patient resides in Henry County.

The patient was hospitalized at Golden Valley Memorial before being transferred to another facility on March 8 for testing.

The patient is still at that facility where test specimen has been collected and awaits confirmation by the Centers for Disease Control(CDC) lab.

An investigation has been underway to determine who the patient may have been in contact with to help contain the spread.

The Henry County Health Center will treat this presumptive case as positive while following CDC guidelines for protecting public health.

DHSS has now tested a total of 94 patients for COVID-19 in Missouri. Ninety of those were negative.

In Missouri, there are presumptive positives for the Coronavirus in Springfield, Henry County and two in St. Louis County.
