The Christian County Health Department says it’s received notification from the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services that two people in the county have tested positive for COVID-19.
Health officials haven’t released any specifics, including whether the two cases are related.
They say an investigation is underway into any increased risk these cases might have presented to the public.
This brings the total number of confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 to more than two dozen in Missouri.
One death has been reported in the Columbia area.
