The victim of the suspected homicide is Elijah L. McReynolds, a 34-year-old male from Springfield. Elijah McReynolds is currently listed as a missing person and has not been seen since July of 2019.

As this investigation progressed and more evidence and information were collected, investigators identified suspects involved in the homicide.  On April 7, 2020, investigators arrested William A. Skaggs and Kaleigh A. Pickle of Strafford, MO. Both Skaggs and Pickle were booked into the Greene County Jail for First Degree Murder for their involvement in the crime but charges were not filed at this time. The primary suspect in this case is currently in custody in a different location for unrelated charges.
