One man is dead in a plane crash in a field near Strafford Sunday afternoon.
The victim was the only one on board the small plane that went down near Farm Road 213 around 4:30 p.m.
Authorities are describing the plane as homemade, but have not released any information as to what may have caused the crash.
The Greene County Sheriff’s Office is investigating because the FAA does not look into crashes involving this type of aircraft.
The victim’s name has not yet been released.
