Springfield Police say a shooting that left a 19-year-old man dead is considered a homicide.

Police responded to a house in the 2000-block of North Jefferson just before midnight and found Tyree M. Crenshaw from Springfield with a gunshot wound.

He was taken to the hospital where he died.

Crenshaw was a student at Evangel University.

A 21-year-old man and a 20-year-old man have been arrested on separate charges of 2nd Degree involuntary manslaughter and tampering with evidence.

Both men are from Springfield.

No charges have been filed.

Police say a 19 year old man has died after a shooting early this morning.

Authorities responded to a call for a drive-by shooting at a home near North Jefferson, east of Lafayette Park.

Police in Springfield say the shooting was accidental after talking to three roommates in the home.

The victim’s has not been released.
