Five Springfield-Greene County Library will resume operation of their drive-through window service at 7:30 AM on Thursday, May 7.

This is three days later than its previously announced date due to additional steps required for reopening and additional staff training.

No date has been set for the other 10 branches of the library district.

COVID-19 closed the library buildings and other services on March 17.

Drive-through services were postponed on April 30, after learning they needed to add more safety measures.

Visitors can pick up holds from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Saturday at the Library Center, Library Station, Schweitzer Brentwood Branch and the Republic and Willard branches.

Only materials placed on hold online and directed for pickup at those locations may be picked up.

Return materials will not be accepted at the drive-through windows.

You must deposit return items in outdoor book drops during operating hours at those branches.
