A person is dead after a vessel explosion at the Lake of the Ozarks.

Five highway patrol units responded to the explosion and say three occupants of the vessel were injured.

One was unaccounted for.

Missouri State Highway Patrol have asked those in the area to reduce wake during the investigation.
