Storms producing large hail have moved through areas along the I-49 corridor west of Springfield Monday.
The National Weather Service says the Carl Junction Fire Department reported golf ball size hail just after 9:30 a.m.
Golf ball size hail was also reported on Zora Road west of Rangeline on the northeast side of Joplin at 9:50 a.m.
A firefighter in Tiff City reported quarter size hail.
The entire Ozarks is under a severe thunderstorm watch until 3:00 p.m., with a second line of severe thunderstorms expected to move through southwest Missouri from late Monday afternoon into the evening.
Large hail, damaging winds and isolated tornadoes are possible with the second round of storms.
