Hail came down hard Monday evening as a new battery of storms swept through the southwest KTTS listening area, mostly hitting Newton, McDonald, Barry, and Stone counties.

Quarter sized hail to baseball sized hail reported with those cells, and some rotation but no funnel reported to the west of Seligman.

Half dollar sized hail reported in Seneca and Washburn as a large cell moved southeast through McDonald and Barry Counties.

Quarter and Half-Dollar sized hail also came down in Fairview and Neosho.
