Missourians on food stamps or SNAP can now purchase food online.
The USDA started allowing an online option in the beginning of the year, with Missouri joining at the end of last week.
Walmart and Amazon are the only outlets people can use their SNAP benefits for online shopping, but the department of social services hopes to have more stores added in the future.
SNAP benefits will not cover delivery fees.
