Springfield and Mansfield Police have determined that a device seen alongside main street in Mansfield is not an explosive, as originally thought.

A pipe was found by a passerby near the Mansfield Car Wash, who called it in to 911. Police closed off highway 60, Tripp Street, and Nettleton Avenue.
