After nearly 25 hundred people marched protested in downtown Springfield, several hundred returned to Park Central Square on Sunday night to hold a candlelight vigil for those who died from police brutality.
Flowers and sky lanterns were also passed out to people there.
The event began around 9 p.m.
One organizer said one of the biggest goals was to be peaceful but remember those the lives lost.
