Two kayakers have been rescued on the James River in Christian County.
Nixa firefighters say the teenagers were floating in the rain swollen river when their kayaks flipped south of the Delaware Town Access point.
One was able to swim to shore, but the other had to hold onto something until rescue crews arrived.
Both kayakers were wearing life jackets.
They used cell phones to give rescue crews GPS directions to their location.
