Man Arrested for Shooting Released; No Charges Filed

The man accused of shooting another man at a house west of I-44 and Kearney on Tuesday is out of jail.

Court records say the shooting may have happened as the result of an eviction.

Deputies in Greene County confirmed to KY3 News, that they were at the home earlier Tuesday to evict Alexander Goeman.

When Goeman wasn’t home, they left.

More court documents gave the owner of the house the go ahead to move Goeman’s property to the curb.

It was when a neighbor came to clear out the house at the request of the homeowner when Goeman returned and confronted him.

The men got into a fight and Goeman was shot.

The neighbor has had no charges filed against him at this time. Investigators have not closed the case and are investigating.
