The Missouri Job Center in Springfield is relocating its northside affiliate office to a new location within the northwest quadrant of Springfield. The northside center will be moving to The Fairbanks, 1126 N Broadway Avenue to provide more strategic services to residents of Zone 1. A tentative open date is set for Monday, August 3.

“We believe this partnership with The Fairbanks will allow us to provide the necessary services that are needed by Zone 1 residents,” said Sally Payne Interim Director of Workforce Development for the City of Springfield. “The new location is easily accessible and has two bus stops,” Payne added.

The Job Center North had been located in the Cox Medical Tower since it was first opened in November of 2016. “We are grateful to CoxHealth for their support and partnership over the years, and we look forward to continuing our partnership in other ways in the future,” Payne said.
