An 18-year-old from Springfield who stole a jeep and led Greene County deputies on a chase and drove on a golf course is now facing felony and misdemeanor charges.
Authorities say Devin Sallee has been charged with felony tampering with a motor vehicle and resisting arrest. Sallee’s misdemeanor charges include property damage and driving without a license.
On Saturday, deputies tried to stop a Jeep Wrangler with no plates at West Bypass and Kearney when one person hopped out of the vehicle and ran from deputies.
The chase ended near the Horton Smith Golf Course.
Sallee is scheduled to be in court on September 4.
