Take A Look At The Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl Rings

The Kansas City Chiefs got their Super Bowl LIV rings last night at a ceremony in Arrowhead Stadium.

The ring, made by Jostens, has these features and details, according to a tweet by the team:

  • 2 marquise cut diamonds, symbolizing the Chiefs’ Super Bowl victories.
  • 60 diamonds in the Arrowhead logo, representing 60 seasons in Chiefs history.
  • 16 custom cut rubies, representing the Chiefs’ 10 AFC West titles and six playoff appearances under Head Coach Andy Reid.
  • 50 diamonds surrounding the rubies and logo that symbolize the 50 years between Super Bowl wins.
  • 122 diamonds around the top edge, representing the 100th season of the NFL and the Chiefs’ 22 playoff appearances.
  • One one side, it has the player/coaches name in yellow gold, their number in diamonds. It also features the team motto, “Be Great”, as well as an outline of Arrowhead Stadium with the infamous 142.2 on the scoreboard, a reference to the record-breaking decibel level. The last part shows two banners with the years 1969 and 2019, the season when the Chiefs won it all.
  • The other side has the phrase “Chiefs Kingdom” set in yellow gold, a nod to the fan base and the Super Bowl LIV logo with the final score, 31-20 after the Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers.
  • Each side has two rubies on each top corner, referring to Kansas City’s four straight AFC West titles
  •  Under the top of the ring is the logo of the teams Kansas City beat en route the franchie’s second Lombardi Trophy, and has the deficits the team overcame. Each player or staff’s signature is on the bottom of the ring.
  • And finally, the Lamar Hunt football is on the very bottom of the ring, honoring former owner and founder Lamar Hunt.
