Auditor Nicole Galloway has released her office’s audit of Douglas County, rating the county overall as “good.”
Galloway said the county has made improvements since their last audit several years ago.
The audit also noted the county’s personnel policies made the required number of workings hours for deputies “unclear.” They recommended the county commission coordinate with the Sheriff to fix the policies.
The audit additionally recommended oversight of the civil account and seized property.
