Several roads have been shut down after as much as five to six inches of rain fell during a 72 hour period south and east of Springfield.
Here are some of those roads, as of 9:30 a.m. Thursday:
Highway AB from Wolf Creek to Highway 5 in Wright County has been closed due to water over the road.
Southbound Highway 95 north of Gainesville is closed.
Highway U northeast of Ava, as well as Highway FF and Highway Y near Ava are closed.
Highway T south of Gainesville is shut down.
Highway 181 northeast of Gainesville is closed.
Highway EE north of Drury and Vanzant in Douglas County is closed due to flooding.
Douglas County low water crossings on County Roads 408 and 405 are and impassable.
