The recount results are in for the 135th District race for state representative and the winner is still Betsy Fogle.
After initially finishing with an 80 vote win over Republican incumbent Steve Helms, a manual recount showed Fogle, a Democrat, winning by 74 votes, 8,548-8,472.
The Missouri Code of State regulations calls for a manual recount anytime the percentage margin of difference is equal to or less than one-half of one percent.
The difference in the contest for the 135th before the recount was .45%.
The results will go to a verification board, which is scheduled to meet Monday at the Greene County Historic Courthouse.
The recount was conducted at University Plaza Convention Center in Springfield.
