Republic Schools Decide To Temporarily Move To Virtual Learning

Republic schools are temporarily moving to virtual learning for all grades starting this Friday, November 20th.

The district sent a letter to parents saying it’s had 35 employees test positive for COVID-19 since November 1st, with 19 of those cases in the past few days.

The school hopes to resume in-person classes on Thursday, December 3rd.

District leaders hope the short pause will slow the overall spread of the virus and allow school buildings to be deeply sanitized.
