A teenager from Willard has died in a crash on Farm Road 60 north of Springfield.
The Highway Patrol says Aleiyah Smith, 17, died when her car ran off the road, hit a utility pole, went through a field and flipped.
A passenger, Alexis Greene, 17, Willard, was rushed to a local hospital with serious injuries.
Troopers say neither of the teens were wearing a seatbelt.
