One of Springfield’s most highly-recruited athletes, Greenwood’s Aminu Mohammed has decided to play his college basketball at Georgetown.
Mohammed was named Gatorade Player of the Year as a sophomore and led the Blue Jays to a state title.
at the 2020 Bass Pro Tournament of Champions, he became the fifth player in the tourney’s history to score 100 total points over a three-game event.
Mohammed will start his college basketball career playing for a coach who was also a highly recruit big man when he went to Georgetown, Hall of Famer Patrick Ewing.
